Lakeview Tower Phase 2 - Moncton, NB

This project aims to construct a 60-unit complex including one-bedroom and two-bedroom affordable units and barrier-free units.

The energy performance of the building will be designed to meet the tier 2 energy efficiency outlined in the 2020 National Energy Code.

Minimum 20% of the total units will meet CSA B651:23/652:23 or Rick Hansen Foundation (RHF) GOLD Accessibility Certification for accessibility consideration, and all common areas will be barrier-free.

Project Funding

Lakeview tower has been approved:

  • $20 000 Pre-Development Fund through CMHC SEED fund

  • $369 000 Pre-Development Fund through RDC Preconstruction Fund

  • $150 000 Capital Fund from the Town of Riverview

Capital Funding Strategy

An application will be submitted to Build Canada Homes to attract capital financing.

Current Project Phase

Design Team is moving towards 66% design for Class B cost estimate before the project goes to financing—expected to be achieved towards the end of January 2026.
