Camden Redevelopment Initiative - Moncton, NB
This initiative is targeting re-developing homes on 15 PIDs into 60 affordable homes, utilizing the new zoning by-law which allows four units R1 zones in the City of Moncton.
Project Funding
Funding Applications have been submitted to FCM and RDC for Pre-Development work.
FCM has approved $30 000 for project planning.
The City of Moncton approved $20 000 for soft costs
Capital Funding Strategy
Preliminary designs will be developed to comply with the province’s and the Federal Government’s housing strategies.
In addition to building affordable, energy-efficient homes, this development prioritizes modular building techniques, community partnerships, and the use of Canadian building materials and local trades.
